Are you a sales professional with strategic vision - and do you feel at home in the mechanical engineering environment?
 
Then we are looking for you - as a Key Account Manager (f/m/d) at HMS! In this role, you will support and develop our most important customers in the mechanical engineering sector. You act as a true business partner at eye level and understand how to translate technical solutions into strategic customer relationships.
 
To support our sales team in Karlsruhe (or remote), we are looking for a 

Key Account Manager (f/m/d)

Your Tasks

 

  • Support and strategic development of our key customers - with a focus on mechanical engineering companies
  • Identification of sales and growth potential, including cross-selling and upselling opportunities
  • Development of individual customer strategies in line with the goals of our customers and our company: and our company
  • Close cooperation with Application Engineering and Marketing to develop and implement customer-oriented sales and account strategies
  • Responsibility for sales targets, contract negotiations and expanding business relationships
  • Analysis of market, customer and sales data to derive specific recommendations for action
  • Ensuring clear, solution-oriented communication with decision-makers
  • Close cooperation with internal departments - from product management to technology

 

Your Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in key account management or technical sales, ideally in the field of mechanical engineering, automation or industrial components
  • Ability to strategically understand complex customer requirements and develop tailor-made solutions
  • Strong negotiating skills and confident manner at all decision-making levels
  • Strong communication skills, initiative and structured, analytical working style
  • Experience in working with international customers and intercultural teams
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • Willingness to travel regularly (approx. 30-40%), also internationally - you will receive a company car, also for private use
